Rumor: EA survey may point to new MySims game for Nintendo Switch
Although nothing is official at this time, there could be hints of a possible new MySims game coming to Nintendo Switch.
This week, EA allegedly sent a confidential survey to select Sims players. One of the questions is particularly interesting. it refers to a new MySims for Nintendo Switch that would be a “cozy, collaborative adventure simulation game”.
Further mentioned is that players would be able to “explore a whimsical world, customize their village, befriend residents and pets, and uncover delightful secrets”. It can be played alone, but support is planned for up to four players.
As part of the question, survey participants are asked to rank potentially appealing features. These may further hint at possible mechanics like pets, rideable mounts, crafting, and cross-platform play with PC.
MySims finally made a comeback at the end of 2024 on Nintendo Switch with the Cozy Bundle. This featured the return of the original Wii game and MySims Kingdom.
By all accounts, MySims Cozy Bundle did well, so EA may want to explore the franchise further. It would certainly be an interesting move as the last brand new entry in the series was released sixteen years ago.
