Nintendo says Switch 2 sales are growing at the fastest rate in history for its gaming platforms, largest third-party lineup ever

Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa has delivered more positive news about Switch 2, stating that the platform is experiencing sales that are growing at the fastest rate for its gaming platforms ever.

That tidbit was shared during a financial results briefing for the company’s financial results. Furukawa also said Nintendo Switch 2 is receiving “the largest third-party software lineup for a new Nintendo hardware ever.”

Furukawa told investors today:

“Sales of Nintendo Switch 2 are growing at the fastest rate in the history of our dedicated video game platforms. Not only have we already seen multiple hit first-party titles, but we have also had many software publishers on board from the very beginning, resulting in the most extensive launch-year lineup out of any of our dedicated video game platforms. With the help of these factors, the Nintendo Switch 2 business is building a powerful foundation at a very early stage.”
