Update: Essentially confirmed to be a guess.

En la Revista Oficial Nintendo 261 aparece septiembre como fecha de Smash Bros. 3DS, pero se referían a verano, que es la fecha oficial.

The latest issue of Spain’s Official Nintendo Magazine claims that Super Smash Bros. for 3DS will arrive in September. I’ll be perfectly honest with you: that release month is completely possible, but I doubt ONM has any sort of insider information. Unfortunately, magazines often list their own guess.
