Publisher Outright Games and developer 3D Clouds announced today that PAW Patrol: Grand Prix is heading to Switch. The title is planned for a September 30, 2022 release.

This is the fourth PAW Patrol game from Outright following PAW Patrol: On a Roll!, PAW Patrol Mighty Pups: Save Adventure Bay, and PAW Patrol The Movie: Adventure City Calls. This new entry is a kart racer that will have players driving around in vehicles from the popular TV show.

PAW Patrol: Grand Prix has players joining Ryder and his furry friends as they race around Adventure Bay, Jake’s Snowboarding Resort, and the Jungle. Mayor Humdinger could be just around the corner though, and could “turn your race into a crazy catastrophe” with tricks and obstacles.

Outright Games has confirmed that the game will support up to four players at once in multiplayer splitscreen. An easy control option is included for auto-acceleration, but there’s also a hard mode for more experienced fans. Power ups and boosts will be available such as water balloons, snowballs, and confetti blasts. Finally, karts can be customized with 20 stickers and 20 topper items inspired by the TV show, with more options unlocked by racing.

Terry Malham, CEO of Outright Games, said of today’s announcement:

“We are absolutely delighted to be working again with Paramount Consumer Products, Nickelodeon and Spin Master to bring our favorite pups together on the racetrack with PAW Patrol: Grand Prix. This is our fourth PAW Patrol game now and we love finding new adventures for Ryder and his canine friends to get stuck into. PAW Patrol: Grand Prix will be a brand-new direction for PAW Patrol video games as well as a super exciting kart racing tournament to take on friends and family. We’ll see you at the start line!”
