Rumor: Persona 6 coming to Switch 2

According to Persona leaker MbKKssTBhz5, Persona 6 will be appearing on Nintendo’s next console. No further details were provided other than it’s happening – apparently.
Atlus hasn’t announced the RPG but it’s only a matter of when, not if. The company has been various entries in the series since Persona 5’s original launch, and considering how long ago that was – 2016 originally and 2017 in the west – there’s no question that it’s deep in development.
Switch is the first time that Atlus has provided a great deal of support for the Persona series on a Nintendo platform. While the 3DS did receive the Persona Q games, it’s gone much further with Nintendo’s console. Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 5 Royal are all available – not to mention Persona 5 Strikers and Persona 5 Tactica. Persona 3 Reload seems to be the main admission at the moment – which we’ll get to in a second.
This isn’t the first Atlus-related rumor MbKKssTBhz5 has shared regarding Switch 2. It’s also been claimed that Persona 3 Reload and Metaphor: ReFantazio will be released on the new system. Although it looks like we aren’t getting Persona 3 Reload on Switch, Atlus may have felt that the next Nintendo console would be a better fit.
