Pokemon GO announces Season 9: Mythical Wishes and more

Niantic has announced December content updates for Pokemon GO, including Season 9 – titled Mythical Wishes. There’s also news about raids, research breakthroughs, and upcoming events.

Season 9: Mythical Wishes starts in Pokemon GO on December 1, 2022, at 10 AM and runs through March 1, 2023, at 10 AM local time. While it’s active, players will see the return of events like Pokemon GO Tour, Winter Holiday, Lunar New Year, and Valentine’s Day. GO Battle League: Mythical Wishes Season will begin in Pokemon GO on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 1 PM PT (GMT −8). At the beginning of the season, Trainers’ GO Battle League rank will be reset and they will be able to redeem their end-of-season rewards on the battle screen.
