Pokemon GO reveals rare item Gold Bottle Cap and Hyper Training
Pokemon GO today unveiled Gold Bottle Caps, a new rare item that allows players to increase the HP, Attack, and Defense of a Pokemon that is a Good Buddy or higher through Hyper Training. Players will need to complete specific Training Tasks themed to the stats they intend to raise once selected.
Gold Bottle Caps will be included in GO Pass Deluxe: Ancients Recovered starting June 23 at 10 Am to June 29 at 6 PM local time.
In celebration of Ancients Recovered, all players will automatically receive a free GO Pass on June 23 at 10 AM local time. This will include rewards such as:
- A random encounter with a Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Regieleki, or Regidrago that has a Special Background
- Encounters with dapper Pikachu with red, blue, or yellow accents
- Even more themed Pokemon
- Additional items including Stardust, XP, Poké Balls, and Candy
The free GO Pass can be upgraded to GO Pass Deluxe: Ancients Recovered for a price. This is for those looking for upgraded rewards like the Gold Bottle Cap, powerful event bonuses, and faster progression. In addition to the Gold Bottle Cap, players will see additional rewards including:
- A Zacian Mask avatar item
- A Zamazenta Mask avatar item
- Premium items such as Incense, a Lucky Egg, an Incubator, Lure Modules, and more.
