The Embrace Pokemon, Gardevoir is a dual Psychic/Fairy type Pokemon introduced in Gen III. It gained the Fairy typing in Gen VI, as well as a Mega form. It also featured prominently as an NPC in the first Pokemon Mystery Dungeon spinoff title.

The official Pokedex entry reads: “It unleashes psychokinetic energy at full power when protecting a Trainer it has bonded closely with.”

Gardevoir can only be found in one location in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: Glaseado Mountain. However, this is a very large area of the map, and it is a very rare spawn, meaning that you could spend a very long time searching for one. As there are a large number of Bronzong in the area, prepare by making an Ultra Ham Sandwich (using Pickle, Ham, Prosciutto, and Jalapeno as ingredients, with Mayonnaise and Mustard as seasonings) which will give you Encounter Power: Fairy Lv. 2, and search the slopes on the northernmost side of the area, closer to the water. Another thing to keep in mind about the location in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet is to check your map frequently to see what has spawned so you will have some idea of whether or not there is a Gardevoir in the area.

If you are having no luck encountering one in the wild, Gardevoir can also be found in Tera Raid Battles, which are marked on your map. New ones will be added as you clear them, and they will also change daily, so it is worth checking to see if any of these contain a Gardevoir. Gardevoir can be encountered in 5 and 6 star Tera Raid Battles.
