Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Hariyama location guide

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet have brought back Hariyama who is ready to Arm Thrust its way through opponents, and with this guide we’ll tell you about its location so you can add it to your collection.
What is Hariyama?
Hariyama is a Fighting-type Pokemon. Known as the Arm Thrust Pokemon, it first appeared in Gen III. It received a Paradox counterpart this generation in the form of Iron Hands, which is exclusive to Pokemon Violet, although Hariyama itself can be found in both Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet.
The Pokedex entry shares the following blurb: “It stomps on the ground to build power. It can send a 10-ton truck flying with a straight-arm punch.”

Hariyama appears in numerous locations across the Paldea region: East Province Area Three, West Province Area Two, West Province Area Two, West Province Area Three, South Province Area Three, South Province Area Six, Alfornada Cavern, Dalizapa Passage, and Glaseado Mountain. The easiest place to find this Pokemon is East Province Area Three, where it will commonly appear with a group of Makuhita accompanying it. If you are having trouble locating it, preparing a Herbed-Sausage Sandwich (using the ingredients Herbed Sausage and Ketchup) for Encounter Power: Fighting Lv. 1 or a Great Ham Sandwich (using Pickle, Ham, and Prosciutto as ingredients, with Mayonnaise and Mustard as seasoning) for Encounter Power: Fighting Lv. 2 will increase your chances of it appearing.
Like many Pokemon, Hariyama can also be encountered in a Tera Raid Battle, which will be marked on your map. New ones will appear as you clear them, and they will also change daily, so it is worth checking each one on your map to see if any of them contain Hariyama. You can encounter Hariyama in 5 star Tera Raid Battles.
