Pokemon Scarlet and Violet-themed Splatfest announced for Splatoon 3

Original (10/7): A special Pokemon Scarlet and Violet-themed Splatfest has just been announced for Splatoon 3. The event will be held starting on November 11 at 4 PM PT and runs through the same time on November 13.
The Splatfest theme asks which first partner Pokemon players would choose. They can side with Grass-type, Fire-type, or Water-type.
We should have the results of the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet-themed Splatfest for Splatoon 3 soon after the event ends.
In the previous Splatfest for Splatoon 3, players were asked what they would bring to a deserted island. They could go with either gear, grub, or fun. Gear ended up winning, and if you missed the full results, we have them for you right here.
Splatoon 3 is out now on Switch, and Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet launch for Switch on November 18. Let us know which team you’ll be siding with in the comments.
