Pokemon Scarlet and Violet announce Tera Raid Battle with Hydreigon and Dragapult
Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet will soon be receiving a new Tera Raid Battle featuring Hydreigon and Dragapult. However, there’s a slight wrinkle to the event.
If you own Pokemon Scarlet, you’ll be able to take on Hydreigon. Those with access to Pokemon Violet will instead battle Dragapult. In both cases, raids will appear in 4 and 5 star Raid Battles.
We did see something similar last month. Tyranitar and Salamence were the featured Pokemon in Tera Raid Battles, but that was dependent on the version you were playing. It was Tyranitar for Pokemon Scarlet and Salamence for Pokemon Violet.
There are special types of Tera Raid Battles can be experienced at different points in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet when player find black crystals that look different than the ones they’d ordinarily approach. The creatures here are much stronger than those that appear in ordinary Tera Raid Battles and are only available for a limited time. By taking them down, players can earn rewards that are even more exciting than usual.
The Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet Tera Raid Battle event with Hydreigon and Dragapult will kick off on January 6, 2022 at 00:00 UTC. It will last through January 8, 2022 at 23:59 UTC.
Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet are both out on Switch. Find the official website here for more information about the games.
