Pokemon Sun/Moon trailer shows starter Pokemon, November 18 release date

Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon were announced at the end of February in celebration of the franchise’s 20th anniversary. Aside from some snippets of development footage, not much was shown. We also haven’t seen much of the games overall since then. Starting today, that’s starting to change.

The first Pokemon Sun/Moon trailer is now up, and it shows quite a bit. Rowlet, Litten, Popplio are confirmed as the starter Pokemon, and we also have a November 18 release date (November 23 in Europe). Alola is confirmed as the major region, and we’re also able to get a glimpse at the two mascot Pokemon.
