Pokemon Sword and Shield hosting Max Raid Battle with Grimmsnarl

Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield are now hosting a new Max Raid Battle event that puts the focus on Grimmsnarl.
During the event, the creature is more likely to appear. Additionally, those that are lucky enough may encounter a Shiny version. Of course, there’s no guarantee that Shiny Grimmsnarl will appear, so you may have to enter a number of Max Raid Battles before one shows up.
Those that are looking to participate in the Max Raid Battle event featuring Grimmsnarl in Pokemon Sword and Shield can do so by first connecting their Switch system to the internet. Then when a pillar of light begins to appear from a Pokemon Den in the Wild Area, walk up to it and interact to have a Max Raid Battle begin.
The latest Max Raid Battle event for Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield will be live until August 21, 2022 at 4:59 PM PT / 7:59 PM ET. A new one will likely be starting up at some point after that.
