Pokemon Unite adding Alolan Raichu and Alcremie
February 27: Two more characters have just been announced for Pokemon Unite, with Alolan Raichu and Alcremie set to join the fray. This is according to the latest news just shared during Pokemon Presents 2025.
Alolan Raichu is dropping first in April – an exact date wasn’t given, but that information will follow later. We actually don’t have a launch window at all for Alcremie, though a 2025 release is expected.

Pokemon Unite can be downloaded via the Nintendo eShop and mobile via iOS and Android. A new update for the game was just released, which you can read about here.
March 12: Right off the recent announcement, Alolan Raichu already has a release date. The character goes live on April 16. We’ll update this post again when we have a trailer.
