Private Division acquires Roll7
Today, Take-Two publishing label Private Division announced that it has acquired developer Roll7.
The two sides are currently working together on OlliOlli World, which is planned for this winter. Roll7 also made the previous two entries in the series – OlliOlli and OlliOlli2 – which are available on Switch.
Roll7 has “additional unannounced projects in development,” according to today’s announcement Private Division also says it will support the studio’s future endeavors and empower the company to continue making “flow state gaming” experiences.
Executive VP and Private Division head Michael Worosz said of today’s news:
“We’re thrilled to welcome Roll7 to the Private Division family. As a team passionate about action sports ourselves, seeing how Roll7 combines the thrill of competition with the zen of achieving flow-state in a videogame is remarkable, and we can’t wait to show the world this phenomenon with our release of OlliOlli World this winter.”
Roll7 CEO Simon Bennett also noted:
