Professor Layton and the New World of Steam delayed to 2026, new trailer

Professor Layton and the New World of Steam is seeing another delay, with the game being bumped back to 2026. On top of that, a new trailer has come in.

Just like with some other Level-5 games, it’s been a somewhat long wait for Professor Layton and the New World of Steam. Originally, it was announced at the start of 2023. The 2025 launch window was then given in November of that year.

Regarding the delay for Professor Layton and the New World of Steam, Level-5 said today:

“Although the release was originally scheduled for 2025, in order to deliver the game in the best possible form, the launch has been rescheduled for 2026. We deeply regret any inconvenience this delay may cause and greatly appreciate your understanding and continued support.”
