Raidou Remastered details more characters, locations, facilities, replayability, free DLC
Today, Atlus shared another round of details and screenshots for Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army. The update covers key characters, in-game locations, facilities, and replayability.
Something else we’re hearing about today is the Demonic Designations: Summoner Titles DLC that will be released post-launch on July 3 for free. This will include ten total fan-voted titles for Raidou (seven from North America and three from Southeast Asia) and are handpicked from submissions in a special social media promotion that took place earlier with winners to be announced soon.
Below is the full roundup of details:
Characters
As Raidou investigates this case, he encounters a variety of characters along the way. All characters appearing in the main storyline are now fully voiced for the first time!
- Dr. Tsukumo: A self-proclaimed scientist who is indifferent to matters unrelated to research. He dreams of launching his own homemade rocket and diligently conducts research day and night in a shack on the outskirts of Fukagawa-cho, known as the “Amazing Science Lab”. His dedication and straightforward personality have earned him the affection of the local residents.
- Owner of Ryugu: The owner of the Restaurant “Ryugu” located on the outskirts of Ginza-cho. Ryugu, under her management, is a top-class establishment favored by key figures in politics, business, and the military, and Narumi, who has accumulated a considerable tab there, seems unable to stand up to her. She possesses strong managerial skills and is also involved in her family’s trading business in addition to running Ryugu.
- Denpachi Iida: A rickshaw runner employed by the restaurant “Ryugu”. Having lost his parents early on, he diligently works as a rickshaw runner to support his only living relative, his younger sister. He takes pride in his long-standing career as a rickshaw runner and seems to feel frustrated by the rising popularity of automobiles, which are gradually taking away his clientele.
Landscape of the Capital
In the course of his investigation, Raidou will visit various towns and facilities throughout the Capital. He will be able to see a diverse range of cityscapes, from Westernized brick-style streets to those overflowing with the charm of Edo’s traditional downtown atmosphere.
- Tsukudo-cho: Various shops line the streets, and people of all ages, from students to the elderly, frequent the area. It is also home to the Narumi Detective Agency, making it a central hub and base of operations for Raidou and his team.
- Fukagawa-cho: In the Capital, which is undergoing Westernization, this town retains the strong charm of Edo’s traditional downtown atmosphere. Simple row houses line the street, while entertainment venues such as public baths and show tents create a lively ambiance.
- Ginza-cho: This is the most vibrant downtown area in the Capital, bustling with energy. The main streets are lined with high-rise buildings, where streetcars and automobiles navigate their way through, creating a distinctly urban landscape.
- Harumi-cho: This area is characterized by its atmosphere filled with a foreign flair, featuring brick buildings and churches. It is also a port town with active trade with foreign countries and sees a wealth of traffic from sailors and foreigners.
Facilities
- Narumi Detective Agency: At the Narumi Detective Agency in Tsukudo-cho, you can save your game, recover, and check the status of your investigation. If you get stuck during the case investigation, be sure to stop by the agency. If you have certain items, you can also play the mahjong mini-game. You can challenge Narumi or your demon allies, and earn money based on your score. Aim for a high score!
- Konnou-ya: At Konnou-ya, the antique shop in Tsukudo-Cho, you can purchase a wide variety of items. From tools useful in battle to materials needed for Sword Alchemy, the range of items available for purchase is extensive.

- Nameless Shrine: Although it appears to be a run-down shrine tucked away in a corner of the Capital, it is actually a site with deep ties to the Yatagarasu. By following specific steps, you can meet Herald of Yatagarasu and perform a “Ritual of Entry”, which opens the path to a demon inhabited realm.
- Herald of Yatagrasu: A member of the supranational organization Yatagarasu, who delivers orders and various supplies to Raidou on behalf of Yatagarasu. Well-versed in the occult arts, and performs the “Ritual of Entry”, which sends Raidou into the Dark Realm at various points throughout the Capital.
- Training Hall: You can enter the “Training Hall” from the washstand within the grounds of the Nameless Shrine. In the Training Hall, demons managed by Yatagarasu are unleashed, making it a place for Devil Summoners and their demons to train. There are ten floors, and you can enter floors depending on your skill level. In the Training Hall, a special challenge known as the “Trial of a Hundred Demons” may occur, where, as the name suggests, you must battle 100 demons in succession within a certain time limit. If you succeed, you’ll receive a reward from Herald of Yatagarasu, so give it a try if you’re confident in your skills!
Replayability Elements
