Red Dead Redemption Nintendo Switch 2 rating has surfaced

New evidence has emerged suggesting that Red Dead Redemption will be landing on Nintendo Switch 2.

To clarify, this is the previous entry in the series – not the sequel which has been heavily rumored. Earlier this year, various reports claimed that Rockstar was working on a port of Red Dead Redemption 2. It’s rumored that the Nintendo Switch 2 version will drop at the same time as other new console versions.

That brings us to today’s findings. Red Dead Redemption has now been rated for Nintendo Switch 2 by the ESRB, which is about as official as you can get. That doesn’t tell us about launch timing, but it heavily suggests that Rockstar has something in the works.

Red Dead Redemption previously launched on Nintendo Switch. If we get it on Nintendo Switch 2, it could offer technical improvements and potentially other features like mouse support.

Even with everything said here, we’re still waiting on an actual announcement from Rockstar – hopefully that’ll happen soon. We’ll certainly let you know if and when that happens.
