Resident Evil Requiem seems to have a different boxart only on Nintendo Switch 2
Did you know that Resident Evil Requiem has a different boxart on Nintendo Switch 2? And yes, that literally only applies to Nintendo’s console – the design is uniform elsewhere.
Here’s a look at the boxart for the standard edition across Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series:
What makes things more confusing is that for the the Deluxe Edition, it looks like Capcom decided to keep things the same across all platforms. Once again, here’s a look at the design for all consoles (Nintendo Switch 2 version pictured specifically):
We’re not sure what the reasoning here is. Capcom itself may leave that question unanswered, so fans will probably be left to speculate.
It’s worth mentioning that Capcom seems to be throwing quite a bit of support towards Nintendo Switch 2 with Resident Evil Requiem. After the game receiving a significant spotlight during the Nintendo Direct, the company later revealed plans for both a special Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller and future amiibo.
