Rumor: Another Nintendo Switch 2 dock picture appears, will ship with 60W charger
We’ve apparently got another look at the Nintendo Switch 2 dock picture as well as a tidbit that the device will ship with a 60W charger.
Switch 2 rumors and leaks are practically becoming a daily occurrence at this point. As for the latest, a photo was shared by Laura Kate Dale. The image provides visible input and output voltage information.
Dale claims that the charger for the current Nintendo Switch will not be compatible with the new console while docked. We can also see that the input voltage is 20V and the output voltage is 15V. The original Switch has an input and output of 15V.
Below is the latest Nintendo Switch 2 dock photo:
Our supposed first look at the dock first came right around Christmas. NextHandheld was the first to share an image of that unit.
That’s hardly been all though. As we’ve previously posted, there have been leaks regarding the console itself, the dock, and even the motherboard. Also, shots of the new Joy-Con were posted yesterday giving us our best look at the controller yet.
As the world waits for Nintendo to finally come forward with its own official announcement, it remains to be seen how long the leaks will go on for. But the company previously confirmed that it will share news by the end of March at the latest.
Thanks to Laura Kate Dale for the photo above.
