Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance daily demon vol. 38 – Mothman

Volume 38 of the Daily Demon video series for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance has been released by Atlus, giving us some further information about Mothman.

A Wilder race demon, Mothman is one of the more recognizable demons in the franchise, having appeared in every main installment and spin off since its debut in Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers, and also featuring in the Persona series. In Shin Megami Tensei V it has the following lore:

“A cryptid sighted in West Virginia from the 1960s to 1980s.
It has red, shining eyes and was known for the finlike appendages on both sides of its boy. It has been said to walk on two foot and fly without moving these appendages. It has a keen sense for blood which allows it to easily track its prey. Eyewitnesses say that a UFO was sighted when Mothman appeared, so many believe that it is actually an alien.”
