Snake’s voice actor says he’s yet to record codecs for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
At Fan Expo Boston 2018 last month, David Hayter hosted a panel. Gamers best know Hayter as the voice of Snake in the Metal Gear Solid series.
At one point, Hayter actually commented on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and mentioned that codecs have yet to be recorded for the game. However, he’s apparently offered to Nintendo to be involved for all of the new characters.
We have the relevant bit from the panel embedded below.
Hayter’s comments are interesting, but perhaps aren’t overly significant just yet. He could be under NDA, and it’s also possible that lines could be recorded prior to release. We’ll have to wait and see how things play out once Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is released.
