Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds announced for Nintendo Switch

SEGA has announced Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, which is now in development for Nintendo Switch. The title likely launches in 2025, but exact timing is not yet confirmed.

This one is obviously a racer, but beyond that, SEGA is keeping absolutely quiet. Only a short teaser was just shared at The Game Awards. Coming in at less than thirty seconds, we only see Shadow the Hedgehog taking off in a kart.

The Sonic franchise is no stranger to racers, of course. Team Sonic Racing launched in 2019 and is currently available on Nintendo Switch.

December 14: The following has been found within the metadata of SEGA Asia’s website: “Drift Across Dimensions! Race across land, sea, air, space, and time in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds!” This could give a hint as to what players can expect.
