We don’t have all of the details just yet, but some early tidbits were shared. These include the reveal of the Splattercolor Screen weapon and Bluefin Depot stage (returning from the first entry in the series). The news was presented in a new “music video” trailer featuring the Chirpy Chips single.
Here’s the new video:

We’ll update this post as more details about Splatoon 3 Chill Season 2023 are made available.
Update (11/17): Nintendo is starting to go more in-depth with the details. First up is the new King Salmonid for Splatoon 3, who goes by Megalodontia:
Speaking of ocular enhancement, keep your eyes peeled this December for Megalodontia, a new King Salmonid! It's the largest observed—we estimate its bite radius at 1.4 boats wide. Yes, we're using boats as a unit of measurement! Desperate times call for desperate measurements! pic.twitter.com/4JKoMVi4J3

Next up is the Snipewriter 5B with the sub Splash Wall and the special Ink Storm:
Ballistics here with an update on the Snipewriter 5B. In our excitement we got the sub wrong in our previous tweet. We won't hide our mistake behind the Splash Wall, but you can with this weapon's sub. It also comes equipped with the Ink Storm special! pic.twitter.com/XgDjvstuxh

Also teased is how the Splattercolor Screen affect vision:
Oh, we haven't shared our findings on the Splattercolor Screen yet, have we? Well, the schematic we've obtained is not conclusive, but it appears to contain ocular monochromatic enhancement tech. That means it can make players lose the ability to see color! Stay tuned for more. pic.twitter.com/bfxbXlr6I9

Update (11/20): For today’s update, Nintendo is showing off the Splattercolor Screen. Check it out below.
You really have to see this effect for yourself! Fortunately, we have a video.
Notice that in addition to ocular monochromatic enhancement, enemies who touch the screen take damage.
And for the deploying team, remember that this is not a shield—it will not stop incoming ink! pic.twitter.com/nP3f1TVOy7— Splatoon North America (@SplatoonNA) November 20, 2023
Update (11/21): Continuing on with the updates, we have a look at the Foil Squeeze and the Undercover Sorella Brella. Check out both below.
And while we're at it, here's the Undercover Sorella Brella. It's got the same specs as the Undercover Brella with a new design.
Plus, this loadout comes with the Torpedo sub and—you guessed it—the Splattercolor Screen. We'd love to see how folks are using the screen in battle! pic.twitter.com/WWYhOQ296D

Update (11/22): Next up is a look at the Painbrush Nouveau, new catalog, and locker updates:

And if you're going to deck yourself out, why not deck out your locker too?
Put together a warm and cozy theme featuring hot coffee, ramen, and heartwarming handwritten letters—you'll find those and more in the new update.
Stay fresh!

Update (11/23): Next up is the REEF-LUX 450 Deco and “Slopping Spree” battle theme from Chirpy Chips. Check it out below.
Happy Thanksgiving from SRL Ballistics! Gifts aren't traditional on this holiday, but we've got one for you anyway. It's info on the REEF-LUX 450 Deco, a spiffy-looking new version of the REEF-LUX 450. Now with the Splash Wall and Reefslider, you can get aggressive and explosive. pic.twitter.com/siRTvsq4iz

Here, listen. The tune is called Slopping Spree, and the bass player and composer, Orion, says that they were inspired by some of the random humming that Harmony is always doing. They also called it a battle anthem, but we get the sense that they don't REALLY care who wins. pic.twitter.com/uKsbknKq6H

Update (11/24): We have the next update below, highlighted by the S-BLAST ’91.
Ballistics here on Ballistics Friday! We've got a blast from the past in the S-BLAST '91. This weapon asks the question, "What if the S-BLAST '92 looked different?" But it also comes with Burst Bombs and Booyah Bombs to complete an exceptionally explosive loadout. pic.twitter.com/vRdrFZv1Gq

One last report from SRL today. We've obtained some footage from Splatlandian social media that appears to have been filmed on the stages we revealed in the Chill Season trailer! Take a look for yourself—what details stand out to you? pic.twitter.com/copVrFyplg

Update (11/27): Next up is a look at the Neo Splatana Stamper, Robo ROM-en, and Bluefin Depot:
Remember our Splatlandian social-media coverage of Robo ROM-en the other day? Let's take a deeper dive! It seems that the stage has plenty of sloping surfaces that intersect three-dimensionally. Should make for some spicy battles! And check out the bonus footage of Bluefin Depot! pic.twitter.com/Xeuldcm07V

Moving to Bluefin Depot… Some squidheads may remember this stage from Splatoon, but these renovations are new. The depot is no longer a functional coal mine but a living museum! You may be able to take advantage of some of the Inkling moving tech that was installed for the reno. pic.twitter.com/hFaVShXdcC

Update (11/28): The news continues on, this time for the Triple Splashdown, Enperry Splat Dualies, and Custom Blaster:
Check out this video. If you're on the receiving end, watch out for areas where the explosions overlap. You can try to splat the player who's activating the special—or the giant fists—but if you don't get all three of them, there's still going to be some significant splatter. pic.twitter.com/YBqqPwzTn2
— Splatoon North America (@SplatoonNA) November 28, 2023
Last one for today. Check out the Custom Blaster, a base Blaster that's been upgraded with custom parts. Does it do more damage or fire differently? No, but it does come with the Point Sensor to help suss out enemies and the Triple Splashdown to obliterate them! pic.twitter.com/sbRItuif6M
