Splatoon 3 introduces dualie-type weapons
Nintendo has highlighted the dualie-type weapons in Splatoon 3.
This category was first introduced in the series’ last entry. With the dualie-type weapons, players can press B to perform a Dodge Roll while shooting. Nintendo mentions that it’s a smart tactical move.
With Nintendo showing off these weapons today, we’re able to specifically see the Dapple Dualies and Splat Dualies. The Dapple Dualies emphasize fast Dodge Rolls but have lower range. With the Splat Dualies, “its Dodge Roll power from the momentum generated by the ink blast.”

That speed comes at the expense of range, but make no mistake—these dualies still hit hard and are capable of dumping a LOT of ink in a hurry.
