Spyro Reignited Trilogy devs not commenting on potential Switch version

Following many leaks and rumors, Activision unveiled Spyro Reignited Trilogy today. The thing is, a Switch version has not been announced at this time.

IGN did speak to developer Toys for Bob about Spyro Reignited Trilogy, and asked about a Switch release. Unfortunately, they could not comment. Make of that what you will.

It’s unclear if Activision will be bringing Spyro Reignited Trilogy to Switch in the future. However, it’s possible that we could have another situation similar to Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy on our hands. Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy originally debuted on the PlayStation 4 last year, but is now coming to new formats this summer – including Switch. The one notable difference this time around is that Spyro Reignited Trilogy will initially be on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy contains the original three entries in the series with fully revamped visuals. That’s along with improved environments, updated controls, a re-imagining of Stewart Copeland soundtrack, and more.
