Posted on August 28, 2019 by (@NE_Brian) in News, Switch

No More Heroes 3 director Suda51 stopped by an IGN Japan stream earlier today. While he didn’t share a ton of information, he did provide a status update and some interesting tidbits.

Here’s the full roundup:

– Travis is hurt because of the attacks from the assassins at the end of the second DLC of Travis Strikes Again and leading up to No More Heroes 3
– Will there be assassin ranking? It’ll be answered at a later time
– What about a re-release of No More Heroes 1 + 2? Once again, still in deliberations with Marvelous about what to do with them
– Suda51 is wondering if he should straight up port the games or fully remaster them
– Kimmy and Destroyman (who is now Final Destroyman) are confirmed to return
– There won’t be much NMH3 news until the end of the year
– No plans for TGS
– Mari Shimazaki (Bayonetta) did Kimmy’s new design
– Kimmy has a new unique katana that makes her looks more like a magical girl
– Her bossfight is “suda awesome”
– Destroyman 3 has three different designs
– One of the support characters of Travis was one of the new ones that appeared in Travis Strikes Again’s DLC
– Suda51 reassess that the game’s roughly 50% done
