Super Mario Run gets special Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door event
To tie in with the launch of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door on Switch, Super Mario Run just kicked off a special event.
Paper Mario missions will now appear in the mobile title. Statues have been added to Paper Mario, Goombella, and Koops. If you complete three missions, the Paper Mario statue will unlock. Goombella requires six finished missions. Koops needs a total of nine.
Players can check mission objectives and how far they’re progressed by tapping the Missions icon in the top-right corner of the kingdom screen.
You should get the first mission finished right away as that simply requires visiting your kingdom. Other objectives include defeating certain enemies, collecting a certain amount of coins in a stage, and finishing a level with enough time left on the clock.
Super Mario Run is currently available on mobile via iOS and Android. You can pick up Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door on Switch now.
