Super Nintendo World gets new interactive wall
Super Nintendo World continues to evolve, and the theme park at Universal Studios Hollywood just added a new interactive wall. It can be found within the Frosted Glacier area.
According to Universal, the wall “is designed to challenge guests as they engage with familiar Super Mario characters within the dynamic land.” Visitors can collect digital coins and stamps through the Power-Up Band while keeping track of their score as they challenge themselves each time they play.
Here’s some additional information about the Super Nintendo World interactive wall:
The premise is simple. Guests begin by punching the ? Block where one of four Power-Up items – Fire Flower, Ice Flower, Super Mushroom or Super Star – appear on the screen. They then can tap the Power-Up item and use it by swiping or tapping to defeat Goombas and Red and Green Koopa Paratroopas or tapping brick blocks as they flash by which earns them coins. The goal is to collect as many points as possible before the timed activity concludes.
Outside of Universal Studios Hollywood, Super Nintendo World also has a location in Japan. A new location will also open in at Universal Epic Universe in Orlando, Florida in 2025, which you can read about here. The upcoming Singapore area could start up as early as next year as well.
