GameAtomic recently held a Kickstarter campaign for Kraino Rebirth in hopes of receiving funding. In its final day, it thankfully managed to do so. Switch was part of the original goal, which means it’ll be appearing on the system down the road.
Kraino Rebirth is a pixel art Metroidvania game. It features exploration, immersive combat, a rich lush world, and more. A number of games have been cited as inspirations, including Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, Super Metroid, Shovel Knight, Mega Man, and Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest.
