Ahead of its release later this month, the third developer diary for Sword of the Necromancer has gone live, which focuses on the game’s story. View it below.

Sword of the Necromancer

Sword of the Necromancer is seeing a month-long delay. Originally scheduled for December, it has now been pushed back to January 28, 2021. The extra time is being used “to add a final layer of polish to bring the game to its ideal state,” publisher JanduSoft and developer Grimorio of Games said in today’s announcement.

The two sides said in a joint statement today:

Grimorio of Games and JanduSoft have released the anime-inspired opening cinematic trailer Sword of the Necromancer, a monster summoning action roguelike. The video, made by Sunshine Animation Studio, showcases a glimpse of the story, enemies, and tone of the adventure.

JanduSoft and Void Games have announced Cube Raiders, an upcoming puzzle title for Switch. A release window for Nintendo’s console has not been shared at this time.

Regions of Ruin

The side-scrolling RPG Regions of Ruin has only been available on the eShop, but that’s about to change. Limited Run Games has announced that it will be producing a physical version soon.

Pre-orders for Regions of Ruin open on September 1, with a reservation window of four weeks. You’ll be able to pick up a copy through Limited Run Games’ website here.
