Japanese developers pick their top games of 2014

Close to 150 Japanese developers were asked by 4Gamer about the games that impressed them the most this year. How’d the results pan out?
Youkai Watch 2 took the top spot with 13 votes. Destiny, Terra Battle, GUILTY GEAR Xrd -SIGN-, and the original Youkai Watch rounded out the top five.

Two new games will be available on the Japanese Wii U Virtual Console early next month. They are as follows:
Mega Man Zero 2 (GBA, 702 yen)
Napoleon (GBA, 702 yen)
Both of the games above are due out on January 7.

Today’s The Legend of Legacy update from FuRyu covers the game’s trading system. Here’s an overview as to how it works:
– Can send out a ship from the city to do trade with other cities
– Ship comes in small, medium, and large sizes
– Ships bring back different goods
– These include armor and recovery items
– Large ships are more costly and time-heavy
– Large ships are more likely to obtain more goods
– StreetPass is supported
– The game will send ships to players as they’re passed and return with random items
