Plants vs. Zombies Reloaded

Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted just launched, but an update is already on the way with version 1.2.0. It will be out soon on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch.

Various improvements and fixes are planned. EA and PopCap are touching up the graphics, audio, gameplay, and more.

Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted has leaked, and after some early hands-on time, fans have come across various issues.

The game won’t be out for a few more days, but the leak took place over on the EA app. One person has even been streaming the title. Unfortunately, the reception hasn’t been great so far.

Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted is out in a few days, but before that happens, fans can view a new launch trailer. The video highlights the HD visuals and signature defense gameplay that both fans and new players are sure to enjoy.

Nick Reinhart, general manager at PopCap, recently spoke about why the original Plants vs. Zombies is making a comeback after so many years with the upcoming Replanted remaster.

The title is seeing a new release later this year on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. It goes well beyond a port as the team is adding in local co-op and PVP options, the Rest in Peace and Cloudy Day modes, and an art gallery showing previously-unreleased concepts.

After previous leaks, EA officially announced Plants vs Zombies Replanted. The game is planned to arrive for Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch on October 23, 2025.

Plants vs Zombies Replanted marks the return of the series’ very first entry. It’s the first time we’re seeing it on a Nintendo platform since the DS days.

March 18: A new rating has appeared for Plants vs. Zombies Reloaded on Nintendo Switch, which is currently unannounced.

The classification was added to the official database in Brazil. Unfortunately, no description is included as part of the listing. While we basically have nothing here, we can speculate a bit.
