A new update went live this week for Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga, and it’s a pretty notable one.
Aside from various features, there are some big additions and improvements. For one thing, higher resolution is now supported when playing on Nintendo Switch 2. There’s also a message log, expanded training mode options, a music player, HD Rumble support, and more.

Not long after it came to Nintendo Switch digitally, Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga is now getting the physical treatment. Limited Run Games just shared its plans for production today.
At least for now, it seems that only a collector’s edition will be sold. Each unit includes the game with a digital soundtrack code, two CD soundtrack, booklet, steelbook, double-sided poster, hardcover art book, acrylic standee, and keychain.

Refint/Games and Falcom just nailed down a release date for Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga. On Nintendo Switch, it’s due out for October 10, 2025.
Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga was originally planned for this summer. However, the release ended up being pushed back.

December 20: Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga is on the way to Nintendo Switch, it’s just been revealed. The game launches in 2025.
Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga originally released in 2010 for the PSP. It has never left Japan and has not appeared on new platforms since then – until now.

Refint/Games is teaming up with Bar Holographic Otaku for a Nintendo Switch version of Touhou Artificial Dream in Arcadia, it’s been announced. The title arrives on July 3, 2025.
Touhou Artificial Dream in Arcadia has been on PC since 2023. The Touhou Project dungeon RPG has players going through tricky mazes while taking on enemies in turn-based battles.
