According to Bandai Namco, Tales of Berseria Remastered will be censored worldwide. That news was shared on the official Japanese website.
The game originally came out in Japan about a decade ago, and when the RPG came west, some changes were made. The big one involved censoring a particularly violent scene. We won’t get into it here for spoiler reasons, but you can find a comparison here.

Bandai Namco isn’t slowing down on its Tales of remasters, and has now revealed Tales of Berseria Remastered for Nintendo Switch. It’s coming on February 26, 2026.
