A new patch for Subnautica: Below Zero is here, which is known as the “What the Dock” update.

A new Custom Game Mode and Seatruck Dock have been added. Additionally, an Unstuck Button has been made available, along with a slew of bug fixes.

The full patch notes for the Subnautica: Below Zero “What The Dock” update are as follows:

Subnautica: Below Zero update 1.12

Unknown Worlds is offering the latest update for the Switch version of Subnautica: Below Zero, and version 1.12 is up for everyone now.

The developer says the patch is intended “to address the feedback we’ve been receiving from our Switch players about the increased number of crashes during Below Zero gameplay.” The team “worked really hard to try and address as many of the potential leads, both with our partners, Unity and Nintendo, and with our community.”

Unknown Worlds is hoping that the patch “will significantly reduce the number of crashes”. However, the studio is still very much interested in receiving feedback if players continue to encounter issues.

Unknown Worlds’ adventure games have been dated for Switch. It’s been revealed that the original Subnautica, in addition to its sequel Subnautica: Below Zero, will both be launching on May 14.

Subnautica and Subnautica: Below Zero will be sold together in a single package at retail. The two will also be available for separate purchase on the Switch eShop.
