Tetris 99 33rd Maximus Cup announces with Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe theme

Tetris 99 is still hosting events, and the next one has been revealed to be a special collaboration with Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe. Players will have the opportunity to earn a special theme based on the game by participating in the 33rd Maximus Cup.
Any Nintendo Switch Online member only needs to play the Tetris 99 online mode during the event period. They’ll receive points based on their placement in each match. After hitting 100 event points, the Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe theme will unlock in Tetris 99. It features special background art, music, and Tetrimino designs.
Remember that Nintendo recently made a change so that players will have a chance to earn more points than they did previously if they rank between places #90 and #2 in a match. The #1 spot gives out 100 points per usual.

The Tetris 99 32nd Maximus Cup featuring the Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe theme begins on April 21 at 12 AM PT / 3 AM PT. It’ll last until April 24 at 11:59 PM PT / April 25 at 2:59 AM ET.
