Tetris 99 announces 41st Maximus Cup with F-Zero 99 theme

Tetris 99 will soon be hosting its 41st Maximus Cup with a chance to earn a new theme based on F-Zero 99.

If you’re a Nintendo Switch Online member, you’ll be able to participate. You’ll only need to play the game’s online mode while the event is active. Points are dished out based on placement in matches. Once you reach 100 points, the theme will unlock. The design features background art, music, and Tetrimino designs inspired by F-Zero 99.

The 41st Maximus Cup with Tetris 99 theme in Tetris 99 goes live on June 28 at 12 AM PT / 3 AM ET. It will last until July 1 at 11:59 PM PT / July 2 at 2:59 AM ET.
