The Super Mario Bros. Movie joins Netflix in December

If you’re looking for another streaming option with The Super Mario Bros. Movie, you’ll be happy to hear that it will be joining Netflix very soon. The platform announced today that it can be seen on its service starting December 3, 2023.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie previously appeared on Peacock. It’s taken a few months for the film to begin reaching some of the other prominent streaming services as a deal prevented it from going elsewhere. You should be able to watch The Super Mario Bros. Movie on Netflix over the next ten months. Expect it to return on Peacock for another four months after that.
Before the appearance on Peacock, the The Super Mario Bros. Movie also saw a lengthy run in theaters – and a successful one at that. At the box office, the film took in $1.36 billion worldwide. It’s the highest-grossing film based on a video game and the highest-grossing film from Illumination.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie first debuted on April 5, 2023. It stars Chris Pratt as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong, Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek, and Sebastian Maniscalco as Spike with surprise cameos from Charles Martinet – the former voice of Mario.
