THQ Nordic says SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated “was a fantastic success”, sold over one million copies
THQ Nordic has commented on the performance of SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated, and it seems that the company is quite pleased. CEO Klemens Kreuzer told GamesIndustry that the title “was a fantastic success”. It’s confirmed that over one million copies were sold across all platforms.
Kreuzer stated:
“It was a fantastic success for us, with sales of more than one million units — and I wouldn’t be surprised if it reached two million one day. I think there’s a market for those kind of games. The community was so full of joy.
SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated launched for Switch last June. Although it’s unclear how the game performed on that platform specifically, it’s a certainty that it sold plenty of copies there.
