TMNT: Splintered Fate getting online matchmaking, Challenge Mode, DLC, more
August 26: The team behind Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate shared a roadmap for the game today, which outlines future plans – including online matchmaking, Challenge Mode, DLC, and more.
The game’s next update will be available “very soon”. Once the patch is installed, cross-play between Switch and Apple Arcade will be supported. Various bug fixes and stability improvements will be included as well.
Moving a bit farther into the future, it’s been confirmed that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate is getting online matchmaking. But that’s not all: also in the works is a new Challenge Mode that will test fans “beyond the current challenge of beating Shredder”.
DLC is coming for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate as well. We don’t have all of the specifics, but at least for the first drop, it’ll include “one of the Turtles closest allies as a playable character” plus a new environment, narrative, and enemies. A new original TMNT story and a brand new chapter were teased, too.
Super Evil Megacorp also says that it’s listening to other requests, including a physical release. Although there’s no news about that today, we’ll let you know if an announcement is made later on.
