Ubisoft is Switch’s top third-party publisher, company is reaping benefits of its success, Immortals Fenyx Rising doing well
As part of its quarterly financial report today, Ubisoft revealed that the company is the top third-party publisher on Switch. Nintendo’s console has contributed to its bottom line.
Ubisoft chief financial officer Frederick Duguet stated:
“We’re also reaping the benefits of the Switch’s huge success and our position as leading third-party publisher on the platform thanks to, among others, our Just Dance games and Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. The depth and breadth of our catalog, which goes beyond the brands mentioned, provides us with ever-greater visibility and continues to be a strong driver of profitability.”
Also mentioned during a conference call today is that Immortals Fenyx Rising is performing well on Switch. However, specific sales figures were not provided.
