Ufouria: The Saga 2 confirmed for Switch

Original (10/24): Sunsoft has confirmed that its upcoming project Ufouria: The Saga 2 will be released on Switch. The game is slated for early 2024.
Ufouria: The Saga 2 is a reboot of the classic 1991 Famicom action game. While it was first made known earlier in the year, platforms weren’t announced at the time.
Here’s what’s been shared thus far:
The Ufour-ic reboot of the classic 1991 Famicom action game, Ufouria! It’s up to Bop-Louie and his friends to save the world from the invading aliens! We’re keeping the big map and Metroidvania gameplay, but with randomized elements to keep you on your toes. The characters and stages from the original are also back, stylized in felt and craft materials for maximum cuteness and charm. Ufouria: The Saga 2, coming soon!

Update (11/9): Ufouria: The Saga 2 now has a release date of February 29, 2024. However, it’s unclear if this is only for Japan or worldwide.
In Japan, Sunsoft will be selling a physical release, including a special edition. Copies include the game, soundtrack CD with music from Ufouria: The Saga 2 and the Famicom version of Ufouria: The Saga, Hebe plushie, golden Kerasu and poop pin badge, and a mini whiteboard magnet.
