New sales data is in from the UK for the month of June.
It was another good month for Nintendo, as the company was the best-selling publisher. Activision and Sony followed behind.
Though it launched at the very end of the month, Super Mario Maker 2 still managed to appear in the top ten. Launch sales increased by 85.5 percent compared to the original game and 241.4 percent compared to the 3DS version. Additionally, Super Mario Maker 2 still has sold 20 percent more copies on its first week than the Wii U and 3DS versions’ launch sales combined.
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled was another notable June game, and was the best-selling title of the month. It was the second biggest launch for a Crash Bandicoot title – only behind N. Sane Trilogy. Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy did sell 30 percent more copies in four days than Nitro Fueled did in nine days. Also, 18 percent of copies were sold on Switch while 65 percent were on PS4 and 17 percent on Xbox One.
