Thanks to GamesIndustry, we have new insight into the UK gaming market for May 2024.
There’s some good news here for Nintendo as Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door manages to crack the top ten – and that’s without digital data being reported. Elsewhere we see some of the usual games like EA Sports FC 24 and Hogwarts Legacy make the list.
Console sales are down again for the month. At least for May, a big drop year-in-year is due to Nintendo having Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom in 2023, and there was nothing on that level last month. Also, Switch sales did fall 9 percent compared to April.
