Video: Sakurai gives an up-close look at Smash Bros. Ultimate’s stages
Masahiro Sakurai is still churning out videos for his YouTube channel, and for his latest video, he offered up a closer look at the stages in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Sakurai noted that making levels in the game weren’t easy given how there can be eight fighters on the screen at once, and the action runs at 60 frames per second. He said that this didn’t give the team much leeway. However, he went on to say that “Smash Bros. Ultimate has incredible breadth for a single title.”
Here’s the full video showing off the stages in Smash Bros. Ultimate:
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate originally launched in December 2018. Support for the game ended with Sora from Kingdom Hearts as a DLC fighter in October 2021.
