Xenoblade Chronicles 2: hackers discover customizable difficulty options

Posted on June 29, 2018 by (@OnePunchMaz) in News, Switch

As part of its Season Pass, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 has been receiving a variety of DLC all year, culminating with the release of the story DLC Torna: The Golden Country on September 14th. Dataminers, similarly, have also been at it all year and discovered some DLC features before they were officially announced. This has happened again today as hackers have found customizable difficulty options, which will presumably be added to the game at some point in the feature.

As you can see in the image above, these difficulty sliders allow you to customize the game’s challenge to a great degree, ranging from enemy and party damage and party gauge gain to the chain attack damage multiplier and much more.

Of course, as is always the case with datamining, keep in mind that this hasn’t been officially announced yet and might very well change till its official release, or it might even not be released at all.
