How to 100% complete Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom

Posted on October 13, 2024 by in Guides, Switch

As with all games in the Legend of Zelda series, Echoes of Wisdom has plenty of side content and objectives to fulfill that all count towards 100 percent completion. It’s nowhere near as intensive as Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom’s requirements, making it a decently attainable goal here. We’ve put together a list of all the criteria you’ll need to fulfill in order to count this game as fully complete. While we won’t be spoiling the identity of the final boss, there are minor spoilers within, so only continue if you’re okay with that.

Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom 100 percent completion checklist

Echoes of Wisdom 100 percent guide

  • All 40 Heart Pieces. Thankfully, you can track the Pieces of Heart you’ve already obtained via the world map. These are sometimes present in the overworld, or available through side quests or defeating enemies.
  • All 127 Echoes. After clearing the game and defeating the final boss, you can return to the Deku Tree and he’ll tell you which echoes you are missing and where they are. There are a total of 127 echoes to collect. An easy one to miss is the Lynel, which you can obtain in the Eternal Forest by following the hoof tracks on the ground.
  • All 25 Stamps. This combines for a total of five Stamp Cards to collect, and the Stamps themselves are only in the overworld (and not in caves or dungeons). You can keep track of the ones you’ve obtained via the world map.
  • All Waypoints. These are a little bit harder to keep track of, because there’s no in-game system that tells you which ones you’re missing. They’re also present inside of the Still World rifts, so it may be worth revisiting some to make sure you’ve unlocked all their Waypoints.
  • All 69 Smoothie Recipes. Fortunately, this is a fairly easy task. There aren’t many ingredients in Echoes of Wisdom, and you’ll get plenty of them just by playing through the game without having to grind. Check out our full list of smoothie recipes for help with this task.
  • All 4 Fairy Bottles. These are generally given by side quests as well, and are handy to have even if you’re not going for 100 percent completion in Echoes of Wisdom. In this game, bottles only serve to contain fairies, and you can’t fill them with anything else.
  • All Fairy Fountain upgrades. This upgrades the amount of accessories you can equip at once, which is great since you’ll need to collect every accessory anyway! The upgrades cost tons of Rupees, though, and if you need help farming for some, check out our corresponding guide.
  • All 50 Side Quests. Possibly the toughest component of Echoes of Wisdom 100 percent completion. 50 isn’t a huge amount of side quests, but it’s enough that it’s easy to lose track of which ones you’ve yet to complete. We’ll have guides for side quests coming soon, so stay tuned for those.
  • All 11 Outfits. Many of these are obtained via side quests, and one of them is obtained via full completion of the Slumber Dojo. There are also three amiibo-exclusive outfits you can’t get anywhere else, and if you’d like more information on how to get those, check out our guide.
  • All 26 Accessories. Technically, there are a total of 28 accessories, but you can hold a maximum of 26. This is because the Rupee Appearance and Heart Appearance accessories each get upgraded via side quests, and technically become different accessories. However, you can’t have the base version and the upgraded versions at the same time. Therefore, you can have a maximum total of 26.
  • All 15 Slumber Dojo trials with goal times met. This seems like a big challenge, as there are a total of 15 Slumber Dojo challenges. Some of them are trickier than others – the darkness challenge is particularly troublesome at first – but none of them are terribly difficult. You can pause and take your time to pick your echoes
  • All 6 Automatons unlocked. If you need some information on where to find the Automatons in Echoes of Wisdom, check out our handy guide. Before you’re done playing the game, make sure all of your Automatons are fixed up and don’t need repairs!
  • All 150 Might Crystals and upgrades. This includes the secret Might Crystal reward, which requires 25 of them and can be completed at Lueberry’s House after upgrading the rest of your weapons.
  • Maxed-out Tri level. Tri’s max level is 11, and you can only get to this high of a level if you clear all of the story rifts plus the optional ones as well. If you’re doing everything there is to do in Echoes of Wisdom, you’ll probably have accomplished this anyway.

That’s the full list of criteria for 100 percent completion in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. Overall, it’s not too bad of a game to fully complete – this took us somewhere around 35 hours in total, but we were sort of taking our time. If you know what you’re going for ahead of time, it’s possible to fully complete the game faster.
