The Game Developers Conference has shared the results of its annual poll with 4,000 game industry professionals. There’s good news for Switch, as creators are making four times as many games for Nintendo’s console compared to last year.

In 2017, just 3% of developers said they were working on Switch games. In contrast, this year, 12% are making titles for the platform.

Simon Carless, a vice president at UBM Technology, which owns the GDC, said of the results:

“The Switch is one of the banner takeaways, though the PC is strong. It’s relatively rare to see things swing so much.”

Developers were also asked about which platform interested them the most. 36% responsed with Switch, in comparison to 59% for PC, 39% for PS4, 33% for VR headsets, and 30% for smartphones.

The survey has some interesting results about Switch sales as well. 28% of developers said their games sold better on the Switch than other consoles. Only 16% said they sold less well.
