Level-5 looking to publish more games in the west, “looking into” Inazuma Eleven

Level-5 is taking on more of an ownership role for its franchises in the west. With the Layton series for example, Nintendo was in charge of those games for North America and Europe. But with Layton’s Mystery Journey, Level-5 will be self-publishing the game this fall.

Director of production at Level-5 abby, George Valko, was recently asked what the publishing experience has been like in a recent interview. He said the following:

“It’s been fun and also challenging. Everything you try adds a new initial frustration and challenge, but we’ve learned a lot and it’s made us a bigger and better company. So we’re really looking forward to our next titles, we know exactly what we’re going to do and how we’re going to do it. That said, we’re looking forward to publish more and more as we release more and more games.”

Valko was specifically asked if Level-5’s plans include the Inazuma Eleven series. Regarding this, Valko said: “That’s something we are definitely looking into, but we can’t really give a definitive answer at the moment.”

I don’t know why Inazuma Eleven hasn’t come to America already. They have a long anime so there will be constant interest in the series. Disney XD has 3 good anime on it so far. If Inazuma Eleven doesn’t get too adult, they could throw it on there, promoting the first game and continuing to release the rest.

Or they could do the package with all three games.

They tried with the first game a couple years ago and it sold like boxed cancer.

It sold badly because western people acknowledged(weird word)the entire trilogy was already out in Europe and didn’t wanted to buy just one game without knowing if the other 2 titles would come.

Holy crap. This was an extreme comment. I don’t even know if I should reply to this. Jesus Christ, dude.

That means there’s that slim 0.00000001% chance they’ll bring over Time Travelers, which I’ve wanted since the 3DS launched. Still mad Yokai Watch got brought over instead of that game

Europe is still waiting Inazuma Eleven GO galaxy (3DS) and US, Inazuma Eleven 2, hope they release the Ares game together with japan…

  • Zeebor

Ah, cluster flust! With Level-5 abby being the Western publisher alone, that means Lady Layton is going to be Digital only, isn’t it?!

  • Anti-Fan

They released Inazuma Go 1 & 2… But not the 3…So why complain about localization and they don’t release the final game of the saga?!?!?

    They also haven’t released Little Battlers eXperience 2 & 3, and Yokai Watch 3 & Busters…
